Privacy Policy
This policy covers Lu Zhang's personal site and the SciencesLoop LinkedIn developer application. It also covers property operations SMS support used for existing residential tenants and service vendors.
Information Collected
This public site does not require account registration and does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information. Standard hosting, browser, and server logs may record basic technical information such as page requests, timestamps, browser type, and referring URLs.
When the public site agent is enabled, questions submitted to the agent may be sent to the configured SciencesLoop API so the service can generate an answer from public website content. The agent is not intended to access private files or confidential records.
LinkedIn Application Use
SciencesLoop may use LinkedIn's official authorization flow only when the site owner explicitly grants access. The application is intended for drafting or publishing owner-approved LinkedIn posts about public AI-for-science, scientific-agent, RAG, MLOps, and portfolio content.
The application is not intended to scrape LinkedIn profiles, read private messages, manage job applications, or publish content without explicit owner review.
Comments
Article comments, if enabled, may use Giscus, which stores comments in a public GitHub Discussions repository and requires a GitHub account to post. Comments are loaded only after a reader chooses to load the comment widget. When comments are not configured, the site shows direct feedback links instead.
Property Operations SMS
Zhang Rental Management uses property operations SMS only for non-marketing support for existing residential tenants and service vendors, including maintenance requests, repair follow-up, appointment coordination, lease or parking questions, and vendor scheduling.
An existing tenant or service vendor opts in by reviewing the public SMS consent notice and personally texting START to the property operations support number. START is the only opt-in method for this program. This enrolls the person in recurring transactional property operations messages. Consent is not a condition of renting or receiving property management services.
SMS message content, phone numbers, timestamps, and related support notes may be stored as operational records so that service requests can be reviewed and handled. These records are not sold and are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide mobile phone numbers or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share information with service providers only as necessary to deliver and support this text messaging service. All other categories of information exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent.
SMS recipients can reply STOP to opt out, START to resubscribe, or HELP for assistance.
Message frequency varies with the support request. Message and data rates may apply.
Data Sharing
This site does not sell personal data. SMS opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Public links may point to external services such as Google Scholar, GitHub, LinkedIn, journals, patents, and public research records.
